2075: Radical equality advocates, the Movement for Visual Justice (MOVE), protest the unequal "distribution" of beauty. Attractive women allegedly enjoy unfair privileges in both their professional and personal lives. This is why "Beauty is unfair."

The movement gains increasing influence. Gradually, democracy turns into a dictatorship of equality. It all begins with higher taxes and professional restrictions for exceptionally beautiful women. But eventually, the radical wing of the MOVE wins: "super-beautiful" women, called "privileged beauties," must undergo surgery ("visual optimization therapy") to make them less attractive. This leads to personal drama and despair, but also to determined resistance. Student Alexa (herself a "privileged beauty"), who fears for her younger sister, Alice, and journalist Raven resist the establishment of a dictatorship.

A gripping thriller about envy and the perils of a society that criminalizes inequality. Set in a futuristic future with holographic television, air taxis, a luxury hotel orbiting the Moon, and two small cities on Mars.
