The methodological manual, reflecting the author's experience of working with non-speaking and poorly speaking children, presents outlines of lessons aimed at the formation of speech through fairy tales. The fairy tales presented in the manual are adapted for retelling by children and have a repetitive structure. Brain development in ontogenesis also has a repetitive structure. Offering adapted fairy tales, we lay down rhythm, and rhythm is a powerful aspect of the subcortical structures of the brain, which contributes to the formation of stable neural connections between all parts of the brain (in the cortex), so the younger the children are, the more frequent the repetitions should be.
The publication is aimed at a wide range of readers: speech therapists, students and parents interested in the development of children of preschool and pre-school age.
