"Little Tragedies" were written by A. S. Pushkin in the autumn of 1830 in the village of Boldino. This period of his work is called the Boldino Autumn. Pushkin composed four one-act plays in just two weeks, reflecting in them his artistic reflections on the nature of man and the vicissitudes of fate. In these small masterpieces, Pushkin managed to reveal human passions and spiritual impulses understandable to readers of all times.
