George Mallory was a British mountaineer and participant in three Everest expeditions in the 1920s.

While studying at Winchester College, a teacher invited Mallory to join an Alpine expedition. This marked the beginning of a deep love of mountaineering that would shape the rest of his life. Passionate about his work, he not only conquered peaks but also tried to document each expedition.

Here is George Mallory's legacy: reviews, articles, and travel notes, including the last entries he made before his disappearance. He made three attempts, the last of which cost him his life. To this day, there is no definitive answer to the question of whether George Mallory was the first to conquer Everest.
