"Hello, I know you!" is a collection of stories written "on behalf" of a dog.
A smart, humorous terrier named Jules has his own dog opinion about everything he sees and hears. In addition, he is not averse to chatting and will share various incidents from his life, impressions of his owners and meetings with dogs of other breeds. Jules knows how to follow his owner's commands, demonstrates mathematical abilities, finds a lost cat, can be a lifeguard on the water and wins medals at exhibitions. But sometimes he gets into trouble, although he acts with the best intentions: for example, he barks when visiting (in fact, he is just communicating with the dog), licks a crying baby in a stroller (in fact, he is calming him down). Who can understand these people, what, in their opinion, is good and what is bad!
The author of the book, Alexey Olgin, is not only a famous Soviet poet and songwriter who wrote several absolute hits (“Top, top, the baby stomps”, “A man left the house”, “If only the day would begin and end with you!” etc.), but also a talented writer. He describes dogs so masterfully, as if he personally knew each of them. The book was illustrated by Viktor Duvidov, a brilliant graphic artist, a master of free drawing, and a great dog lover himself, who adored his greyhound named Valdai.
